Another way to showing emotion is through the use of a moving image. I wanted to capture the intensity of what its like to shoot at a competition, so after getting the permission of the archers I filmed them while shooting so that I could grasp the sense of emotions people go through. Between each shot you see the archer express their distress with an arrow that has gone wrong, or if they know their technique is not quite on spot. I wanted to emphasis this further through the use of colours and relate that back to the emotions they go through.
I decided to keep the colours fairly soft because it connects well with the concentration you have within a competition.
